Seit 2006 finden in der Lettrétage ca. 120 öffentliche Literaturveranstaltungen jährlich statt – Lesungen, Workshops, Diskussionsrunden, literarische Performances und Formate dazwischen. Bekannte und unbekannte Autor*innen und Künstler*innen verschiedener Sprachen und Nationalitäten sind hier schon aufgetreten.
Seit 2013 liegt der Programmfokus u.a. auf neuen Wegen der literarischen Präsentation und Live-Produktion: Dazu zählen u.a. die internationalen bzw. transnationalen Literaturfestivals „Soundout!“, „¿Comment!“, „Berlinisi“ und „Syn_Energy“, aber auch das viel beachtete Netzwerkprojekt „CROWD“ und multimediale Projekte wie die Reihe „CON_TEXT“ oder das „Poetry Audio Lab“. Als Ankerinstitution für die freie Literaturszene Berlins stellt die Lettrétage außerdem ihre Räume für Literaturveranstaltungen aller Art zur Verfügung. Zahlreiche freie Veranstalter*innen nutzen unsere Infrastruktur regelmäßig – für Literatur-Workshops, Lesereihen in verschiedenen Sprachen und Buchpräsentationen. (c) Siesta SIESTA FESTIVAL returns with an thrilling exploration of literature and performance, ensembling the voices of three authors: Antonio Ungar, renowned for his acclaimed novels, invites audiences into crafted narratives that traverse languages and cultures, while Giuliana Kiersz, a poet and playwright, offers poetic insights into the human
condition through multimedia landscapes. Felipe Sáez Riquelme , a
boundary-pushing poet and performance artist, challenges the forms and explores through oral expressions and listening, alternatives forms of writing.
Their works will be translated by Susanne Lange #SusanneLange, Timo Berger, and Laura Haber, who bring experience and linguistic fluency to expand languages, exploiting the richness of the texts and the performances.
Adding a visual dimension to the experience are Rocío Rodriguez, and Ian Kornfeld, infusing the event with an immersive aesthetic backdrop. Moderator Regina Riveros will walk us through the night, while the Musician Mauricio Fleury will make us celebrate the closing of another unforgettable journey.
Together, this second constellation promises an unforgettable walk through the realms of latin american arts, inviting you to explore new horizons and perspectives.A surrounding wall of images emerges as the new scenarios for the Spanish and Portuguese performative literature. Magnetic figures, like metaphors projected from afar, emanate and invite us into Panoramas -a triptych of scenarios to be discovered individually, yet together. Structured in three immersive encounters, the Latin American literature in Berlin delves into new
depths beyond the surface of a city. In this unique Panoramas presented by SIESTA FESTIVAL, over 20 artists shape new forms to inhabit the literary and cultural space of LETTRÉTAGE in Berlin-Mitte from January to June 2024. Innovative approaches to producing and presenting literature immerses

(c) Vasco-Szinetar AUTHOR Antonio Ungar is the author of novels translated into seven languages and short stories included in more than twenty-five anthologies in five languages. His novel “Tres ataúdes blancos”won the Herralde Prize in 2010 and was a finalist for the Rómulo Gallegos Prize in 2011. His two
latest novels, “Mírame” (2019) and “Eva y las fieras” (2022) are being translated into French and German.
(c) Rogelio Saunders TRANSLATOR Susanne Lange lives between Barcelona and Berlin. She has translated, among other authors, Fernando del Paso, Juan Rulfo, Federico García Lorca, Pablo Neruda, Luis Cernuda, Juan Gabriel Vásquez, Alejandro Zambra and Javier Marías. For his new translation of Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes she received the German Academy of Language and Literature Award.

Her texts have been translated into English, French, German, Portuguese and Tsotsil, and published by Rara Avis Editorial, Libros del Rojas, Fondo Editorial ENSAD, Editorial INTeatro, Espejo Somos, Libros Drama, Archive Books / Editions Solitude and Editions Espaces 34.
(c) Maria Rapela TRANSLATOR Timo Berger is a journalist, translator from Spanish and Portuguese, and co-curator of the Latin American Literature Festival Barrio | Bairro Berlin (2024) and the Latinale Poetry Festival between 2006 and 2022. In 2022 he founded the company Matchmaker, dedicated to the promotion of contemporary literature. His collection of poems "Hecho en Perú" will be published by Siesta in 2024 in Berlin.
(c) Ian Kornfeld VISUALS Ian Kornfeld is an audiovisual artist dedicated to experimentation in the fields of video, visual arts and sound. He co-founded the music-visual group Pornois (2000-2005) and since 2014 he has been carrying out his audiovisual experimentation project ANTIPLAN.

(c) Maria Rapela AUTHOR Felipe Sáez Riquelme is a poet, performance artist, and writer. In his work, he approaches literature as performance and explores oral expression and listening as forms of writing. As part of a research on the limits of the book format, he published the work "Una vez" in 2021. Together with Franco Marcucci he founded SIESTA Verlag, a publishing house for Spanish-language authors living in Germany.
(c) Santiago Engelhardt TRANSLATOR Laura Haber studied for a Master's degree (2015-2016) in Literary Translation at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. In addition to translating literature from Spanish, Portuguese and French, she is a member of the editorial staff of the literary magazine Alba, Lateinamerika Lesen and also moderator and coordinator of translation workshops.

Selbstfürsorgliches Schreiben
Kennenlerntreffen für eine regelmäßige Gruppe
© Lars-Arvid Brischke Im Selbstfürsorglichen Schreiben erkunden wir verschiedene Wege und Methoden schreibender Selbstzuwendung, Selbstklärung und Selbstbegleitung, um uns sowohl im Alltag als auch in besonderen Situationen schreibend zu unterstützen und die Freundschaft mit uns selbst zu pflegen.
Mit Hilfe von Übungen aus dem kreativen und literarischen Schreiben, Ansätzen aus dem Selbstcoaching und der Empathischen Kommunikation schreiben wir uns in Räume innerer Bewegungen hinein. Wir wenden uns zum Beispiel unseren Gefühlen, Bedürfnissen und Werten zu, vergegenwärtigen uns Ressourcen in unserem Leben oder kommen mit inneren Anteilen ins Gespräch.
Über die angeleiteten Erkundungen und Schreibprozesse hinaus, denen sich jede_r für sich im Rahmen der Gruppentreffen widmet, wird es auch Übungen und Spiele im Miteinander sowie Raum geben, um uns, so weit wir das möchten, über unsere Erfahrungen auszutauschen und einander zu inspirieren. Auch Spür- und Körperübungen möchte ich hin und wieder einbringen, um den wesentlichen Aspekt unserer Leiblichkeit und verkörperten Erfahrung (Embodiment) auch im Schreiben einzubeziehen.
Was ich mir vorstelle, könnte ein regelmäßiges Forum für schreibende Lebensforschung sein, sowohl individuell als auch gemeinsam, und dies auf der Basis von Vertrauen und Verbindung in einer Gruppe, in der wir vielerlei Facetten unserer Lebendigkeit einbringen können.
Mit dem Selbstfürsorglichen Schreiben möchte ich dazu anregen, Schreiben als ein Lebenselixier zu erfahren, das entlasten, in Fluss bringen und Energien freisetzen kann, und Sprache als ein Kraftfeld aus Worten und Bildern, die sowohl erden als auch beflügeln können. Dabei helfen Neugier, Experimentierfreude und Humor.
Unter der Leitung von Rainer Stolz startet an diesem Abend eine Gruppe, die sich kontinuierlich mit Selbstfürsorglichem Schreiben befasst. Das Treffen dient dem Kennenlernen untereinander und des Feldes Selbstfürsorglichen Schreibens sowie der organisatorischen Abstimmung. Wer sich noch nicht sicher ist, kann dieses Treffen als Schnuppertermin nutzen. Vorerfahrungen sind nicht erforderlich.
