Seit 2006 finden in der Lettrétage ca. 120 öffentliche Literaturveranstaltungen jährlich statt – Lesungen, Workshops, Diskussionsrunden, literarische Performances und Formate dazwischen. Bekannte und unbekannte Autor*innen und Künstler*innen verschiedener Sprachen und Nationalitäten sind hier schon aufgetreten.
Seit 2013 liegt der Programmfokus u.a. auf neuen Wegen der literarischen Präsentation und Live-Produktion: Dazu zählen u.a. die internationalen bzw. transnationalen Literaturfestivals „Soundout!“, „¿Comment!“, „Berlinisi“ und „Syn_Energy“, aber auch das viel beachtete Netzwerkprojekt „CROWD“ und multimediale Projekte wie die Reihe „CON_TEXT“ oder das „Poetry Audio Lab“. Als Ankerinstitution für die freie Literaturszene Berlins stellt die Lettrétage außerdem ihre Räume für Literaturveranstaltungen aller Art zur Verfügung. Zahlreiche freie Veranstalter*innen nutzen unsere Infrastruktur regelmäßig – für Literatur-Workshops, Lesereihen in verschiedenen Sprachen und Buchpräsentationen. Queer Poetry with Elena Lazutkina
(c) Elena Lazutkina In september Lettrétage will host an evening of Queer poetry in two languages: English and Ukrainian. Profi actors will read the best of classic and contemporary queer poetry, selected by book producer Lazutkina Olena. The event will take place on 23rd of September in Berlin, but we are searching for queer poetry all over Europe!Lazutkina Olena is an ukrainian visual artist, currently she lives in Berlin, Germany. Before Elena chose a career as an artist, she was a book producer and dedicated 15 years of her live to books. Now her passion is photo and Polaroids, but she is also experimenting with lithography and oil painting. In her works she prefers to show beauty of feminism and combine contemporary art with books or literature. She started with organising exhibitions. Lazutkina’s works always appeal to aesthetics and intellect.***

Вечір буде проходити 23 вересня у Берліні, але ми шукаємо квір поезію по всій Європі!Лазуткіна Олена - головний організатор цього поетичного заходу, українська миткиня, зараз проживає у Берліні, Німеччині. До того, як Олена обрала для себе кар‘єру миткині, вона була книжковим продюсером та присвятила 15 років свого життя книжкам. На сьогодні його пристрасть це фото та Поларойди, але вона також екперементує зі своренням літографій та малюнки олією. В своїх роботах Олена намагається показати красу фемінізму та намагається комбінувати сучасне мистецтво з літературою та книжками. Починала вона з організації вистав та виставок у Києві. The Reader’s acclaimed two-day introductory workshop
A Workshop covering the basics of fiction writing by Victoria Gosling and Jane Flett
Suitable for new writers or offering a shot in the arm for those who want to reinvigorate their writing practise, the course will cover establishing a writing routine, with exercises to kickstart the imagination, tuition on characterisation and dialogue (Saturday), followed by a class on plot and structure, guidance on editing, and a brief overview of how to begin finding publishers for your work (Sunday). The perfect place to reignite your love of writing, the workshop will provide inspiration and encouragement in equal measure in a supportive, creative environment.
The Workshop will start at 10:30 and continue until 16:30 with a one-hour lunch break. Maximum number of participants is 14.

Victoria Gosling is the founder of The Reader Berlin and The Berlin Writing Prize. Her debut novel is forthcoming from Serpent’s Tail in July 2020 (UK) and Henry Hudson in 2021 (US). She is represented by Judith Murray of literary agency Greene & Heaton. Alongside directing The Reader’s day-to-day activities, Victoria works as a freelance editor, writer and consultant and is a former contributing editor of Berlin Stories for NPR. Offering manuscript assessments, mentoring, expert feedback and guidance, she has worked with hundreds of writers and consulted on a wide range of publications currently available in print and online.
Jane Flett’s writing has been published in over 70 literary journals and translated into Polish, Croatian and Japanese. Her poetry features in the Best British Poetry anthology and her fiction has been commissioned for BBC Radio 4. Jane is a recipient of the Scottish Book Trust New Writer Award and was voted Berlin’s best English-language writer in 2015 by Indieberlin.
