Poetic Hafla (arab. for party) is an event series that focusses on presenting middle eastern/mediterranian artists based in Berlin.

The main idea of the Poetic Hafla is creating a place to experiment and
to share ideas. This idea is complemented with many artistic forms of
expression: readings, music, stand-up comedy, and performances.

Literary Reading with Ioana Cristina Casapu

"Girl, Show Me That Body (of Work)" is a literary and performance event series centering FLINTA* authors with migration backgrounds in Berlin. It promotes inclusion and diversity in literature, making marginalized voices visible. Through readings, literary performances, and discussions at Lettrétage, the project fosters dialogue on identity, migration, and gender equality. In collaboration with organizations reaching underrepresented communities, it uses literature as a tool for sociopolitical activism, cultural exchange, and community engagement with new audiences.

"Meine Angst und ich: Sicherheit finden in unsicheren Zeiten"

Die Angst kriecht derzeit auf vielen Wegen in unser aller Leben. Zum Beispiel als Angst vor der Weltlage, Angst vor der Wirtschaftskrise, Angst vor Förderkürzungen oder auch Angst vor technologischen Disruptionen, die viele Literat*innen existenziell bedrohen. Angst ist ein Gefühl und als solches per se erst einmal weder gut noch schlecht. Aber unsere Angst will mit uns sprechen, und derzeit hat sie offenbar viel zu sagen.
