“Experiences and Findings” — Kornelia Boje reads her stories from 1995 to 2024

An entertaining ride through the last few decades, from the everyday to the untold, from the absurd to the familiar that tips over into the unreal, from heartwarming personal embarrassments to abysmal embarrassments. Here, Kornelia Boje collects texts from many years of her writing, observations, descriptions, stories, scenes.
It is absolutely impossible to tar them all with the same brush; together they are a wild mix, as unconventional as they are down-to-earth, as language-creative as they are clearly understandable — and always very individual, from Boje's experience, from her razor-sharp observation and the experience of everyday gender inequalities.
There are Loriot-like dialogues that are caught in an infinite loop, couple relationships that seem impossible and yet sound so familiar to us. Sudden falls into dark abysses are followed by comic Kafkaesque audio plays, insights into the freelance artist's struggles, snapshots of never-ending moments of absurdity — this author writes how she thinks, how she experiences the world. And you don't want to stop nodding in agreement: yes, yes!
