Workshop SIMULTAN(POESIE

simultan(poesie is an interactive poetry workshop where a pool of text is created collaboratively and simultaneously, from which individual poems are then crafted and read aloud together.

simultan(poesie takes place as a cooperative writing session over the course of an afternoon, lasting approximately 3 hours. The event unfolds in three phases: In the first phase, all participants write together on a long roll of packing paper laid out for the purpose. The resulting words and individual lines of verse cluster together, react to one another, complement each other, and merge dialogically into a shared pool of material. In the second phase, all participants generate their own individual poems from this material pool, and in the third phase, they present them as a spontaneous group reading. In this way, the boundaries between reception and production are dissolved, and the strict separation between authorship and readership is overcome.
