Programmarchiv

STUDIOTRONICA LIVE: Sasha Pushkin (Beats. Keys. Visuals.)

21:00Lettrétage in der Veteranenstraße 21, Admission: free artist support/suggested minimum

Studiotronica. Audio / Video Album Release

    (c) Sasha Pushkin

Studiotronica is a solo electronic project of impro-composer Sasha Pushkin.
The independent producer, improviser, multi-instrumentalist, cross-disciplinary artist, pianist, vocalist and creator of many collaborations and concepts in this case uses his skills in creating beats and atmospheres and goes out of his studio space onto the stage to produce live rhythmic sound structures. In this project, the focus is on instrumental music, but does not limit the use of vocals, and work with texts and possible invitation of special guests.

Sasha creates his own personal mix by improvising around various elements of electronic music including IDM, Ambient, Neoklassical, Nu Jazz, Prog Rock and more. A constant rhythmic pulse is most often the supporting base on which various sounds, atmospheres, synthesizer and piano passages are strung.
The project aims at a certain trance-like immersion of the public into the sound and visual space, for each individual to dissolve in their own or common space, while leaving freedom for both passively meditative-relaxing and actively ecstatic dance manifestations of each witness of this action.
Video art created by Sasha Pushkin is also important supportive part of the concert.
Information about the digital album release will be available on Sasha’s social media channels and at the live event on the 1st of February.
