Seit 2006 finden in der Lettrétage ca. 120 öffentliche Literaturveranstaltungen jährlich statt – Lesungen, Workshops, Diskussionsrunden, literarische Performances und Formate dazwischen. Bekannte und unbekannte Autor*innen und Künstler*innen verschiedener Sprachen und Nationalitäten sind hier schon aufgetreten.
Seit 2013 liegt der Programmfokus u.a. auf neuen Wegen der literarischen Präsentation und Live-Produktion: Dazu zählen u.a. die internationalen bzw. transnationalen Literaturfestivals „Soundout!“, „¿Comment!“, „Berlinisi“ und „Syn_Energy“, aber auch das viel beachtete Netzwerkprojekt „CROWD“ und multimediale Projekte wie die Reihe „CON_TEXT“ oder das „Poetry Audio Lab“. Als Ankerinstitution für die freie Literaturszene Berlins stellt die Lettrétage außerdem ihre Räume für Literaturveranstaltungen aller Art zur Verfügung. Zahlreiche freie Veranstalter*innen nutzen unsere Infrastruktur regelmäßig – für Literatur-Workshops, Lesereihen in verschiedenen Sprachen und Buchpräsentationen. Lesung und Performance
Poetic Hafla, a variety show with a mediterranean flare !10 artists, one host & lots of Magic.Poetic hafla is a celebration of Berlin art and culture straight out of middle east Kreuzberg. It will be a night full of performances from up and coming recording artists, spoken word performers, dancers and actors.
The concept of Poetic hafla (arab. for party) was first initiated in 2015 by the two Mizrahi-Israeli artists Mati Shemoelof and Barack Moyal. Since then, their regular events have become a platform for middle eastern creative minds based in Berlin. The format somewhere between performance and party, each event has its unique character according to whoever is presenting themselves and their work.
Poetic hafla is back with another evening of performances and a party! Featuring the work of ten incredible artists and 2 Dj’s that will keep you grooving and moving all night.

LOVE, SWEAT AND LAUGHTER - Soul and the City Autumn Edition
Rap Poetry, Story Poetry, Music, Spoken Word, Comedy, Dance, Visual Arts and Storytelling
The project Soul and the City is thrilled to continue with their "Love, Sweat and Laughter" series of events, which allow an outlet for different types of arts to manifest, intertwine and grow together with the purpose of creating a culturally diverse tapestry of thought-provoking expressions, up-close emotions and in-depth gestures, leaving positive imprints of social engagement and political awareness.
Some of Berlin's coolest artists will gather together to present their witty performances in an enjoyable, friendly and slammin' atmosphere refilled with love, sweat and laughter, the right impetus for the entire night.
Performing artists from: France, USA, UK, The Netherlands, South Africa, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Italy, Brazil and more.
This is a multi-gender, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural event meant to bring joy and good times. No sexist, racist, bigoted, discriminatory, xenophobic or homophobic language will be tolerated.
