Seit 2006 finden in der Lettrétage ca. 120 öffentliche Literaturveranstaltungen jährlich statt – Lesungen, Workshops, Diskussionsrunden, literarische Performances und Formate dazwischen. Bekannte und unbekannte Autor*innen und Künstler*innen verschiedener Sprachen und Nationalitäten sind hier schon aufgetreten.

Seit 2013 liegt der Programmfokus u.a. auf neuen Wegen der literarischen Präsentation und Live-Produktion: Dazu zählen u.a. die internationalen bzw. transnationalen Literaturfestivals „Soundout!“, „¿Comment!“, „Berlinisi“ und „Syn_Energy“, aber auch das viel beachtete Netzwerkprojekt „CROWD“ und multimediale Projekte wie die Reihe „CON_TEXT“ oder das „Poetry Audio Lab“. Als Ankerinstitution für die freie Literaturszene Berlins stellt die Lettrétage außerdem ihre Räume für Literaturveranstaltungen aller Art zur Verfügung. Zahlreiche freie Veranstalter*innen nutzen unsere Infrastruktur regelmäßig – für Literatur-Workshops, Lesereihen in verschiedenen Sprachen und Buchpräsentationen.     The Erotic Album: Sound Poems from the Body

    An intimate, warm and sensual live performance of sound poems by
    Berlin Nocturnes and visual art by Monika Kozub.

    Each one of these tracks explores the erotic from a different body
    part; eyes, ears, breasts, vulva, belly, thighs. Listen to each
    part speak, accompanied by live piano and a soundscape made from sounds of the body, as sensual visual art unfolds.

    Come, and be titillated, amused, surprised, and led on an erotic
    journey from the tips of your hairs to the soles of your feet.

    Berlin Nocturnes is an artist duo consisting of multidisciplinary writer Madhvi Ramani and sound artist, composer and musician Lutz Gallmeister. They have been performing their unique mix of sound art, text, and live music since 2022, and recently released their first EP Water Stories.

    Madhvi Ramani writes articles, essays, fiction, and uses storytelling to expand political, creative, and emotional awareness. Her latest children’s book "Whisper, Shout, Let it Out" (Macmillan, 2023) encourages children to experiment with their voices. It has been shortlisted for the BookTrust Storytime Prize 2025, and featured on the BBC. Her work explores the body, feminism, and new ways to tell stories.

    Lutz Gallmeister composes for dance performances, theatre, film and art installations. In 2021 he developed and produced “Project [a]”, a sound and video installation with a dance performance involving over 40 international artists, on the theme of human rights. It premiered at the Kronenboden project spaces in Berlin and the Memorial da Resistência (Resistance Museum) in São Paulo, Brazil. Most recently he has completed projects for Theatrehaus Overhausen, and worked on his own album as a singer-songwriter. His work focuses on socially critical issues.

    Monika Kozub, also known as Berlin Boudoir, is a multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller based in Berlin. She explores the diverse spectrum of beauty in the world, placing emphasis on themes of nature and sexuality as means of
    empowerment for women. Her work celebrates the raw, the bold, and the sensual, inviting us to spark deeper connections—with ourselves, our bodies, each other, and the natural world—and prompting us to rethink the norms that shape our perceptions.

    Berliner Autorensalon

    Workshop mit Claudia Rapp

    Der Berliner Autorensalon möchte anregende Gespräche und konkrete Arbeit am Handwerk des Schreibens bieten, Autoren unterschiedlicher Genres zusammenbringen und eine Gelegenheit zur Flucht vom einsamen Schreibtisch sein. Wir basteln mit Sprache, diskutieren über Stil und Erzählweise, und spielen anhand verschiedener Übungen durch, wie sich Texte anders und vielleicht besser bauen lassen.

    Dazu nutzen wir u.a. Ursula K. LeGuins Buch "Kleiner Autoren-Workshop" (bzw. "Steering the Craft" im englischen Original).

    Alle, die mindestens semi-professionell schreiben, sind willkommen, mitzumachen. Soll heißen: Du hast bereits etwas veröffentlicht, ob Short Story oder Roman, ob im Verlag oder als Self-Publisher – oder du hast mehr als ein paar kurze Geschichten in der Schublade. Ebenso freuen wir uns über E ganz genauso wie über U, mögen aber diese Unterscheidung überhaupt nicht! Nur für ganz blutige Anfänger ist die Sache eher nicht geeignet.

     

    Claudia Rapp ist ständig auf der Suche. Nach Inspiration, guter Musik, dem grüneren Gras, neuen Orten und alten Mythen. Im Rheinland geboren und aufgewachsen, am Bodensee studiert, promoviert und Kinder in die idyllische Welt gesetzt, in Hawaii das Paradies gefunden und wieder verloren, lebt sie nun vorerst in Berlin und verdingt sich als Übersetzerin (u.a. Clive Barker, Poppy J. Anderson). Wann immer Zeit und Geld es erlauben, geht sie auf Reisen oder besucht Festivals.
