Hilda Hoy (金邦琳) is a Taiwanese Canadian writer, editor, and translator. In addition to working as a reporter for the Toronto Star and the Prague Post, she has published narrative non-fiction in Roads & Kingdoms, Slate, and Narratively, as well as a travel guidebook titled The HUNT: Berlin. Her newest book, Mother Tongue, was begun while serving as writer in residence at the Taiwan Literature Base in Taipei. The diaspora experience and examinations of identity are central themes in her writing.

Rob Madole is a writer and translator. His translation of Ruth Rehmann’s ILLUSIONS will be published in the Faber Editions series in August 2026.

Kate McNaughton is a documentary filmmaker, author, and translator, working from the French, German, and Italian. Her debut novel, How I Lose You, was published in 2018.

Tobias Ryan is a writer, translator and editor from Wales, living in France. His writing and translations have appeared in The Kenyon Review, TOLKA Journal, Asymptote and elsewhere. A novella, GLANTZ was published by Equus Press in 2025. A novel, Son! Of Lord Patchogue!, will be out with Stalking Horse Press in 2027. Alongside Yanina Spizzirri, he is Editor-in-Chief of minor literature[s].

Dženana Vucic is a Bosnian-Australian writer, editor and critic. Their debut poetry collection, _afterwar_ , is out now.

Sanders Isaac Bernstein is a writer who lives in Berlin. His work has appeared, among other places, in newyorker.com, The Baffler, Jewish Currents, and Cabinet. He is a member of Berlin’s Jewish writers’ collective Die Sammlung and helps to edit The Auflauf.

Mathilde Montpetit is a PhD candidate and writer who occasionally translates from French and Arabic. She is an editor at The Public Domain Review and serves as chief undersecretary of The Auflauf.

Alexander Wells is a freelance writer and critic from Australia. His reviews and essays have been published by The Guardian, The Drift, The Baffler, and the European Review of Books among others. He edits at The Auflauf.
