September at Lettrétage

Back from the summer break, we are still in the holiday mood. In September, we become travellers and explorers. While we deal with this topic more directly in our German events, we take a more metaphorical and musical journey in the english ones.

On Friday the 13th of September at 8.00 pm, we will linger in the world of creative possibilities. In Convergence IV, the Kross Collective presents a multi-sensory performance and explores the connections between sound, text and visuals. There will be four shorter and two longer performances. Christian Forte, Ginés Olivares, Felipe Sáez Riquelme, Elina-M. Pantsyr, Ana Gagulidze, Mire, Julia Witas and Days Like Television will present their works. Tom Bresemann will be the moderator.

On Saturday the 14th of September at 7.30 pm, things get musically. With its “Love, Sweat and Laughter” series, the Soul and the City project presents an evening full of different forms of poetry, music, dance, comedy, visual art and stories. We travel through different forms of literature and culture. Artists from Great Britain, France, the USA, the Netherlands, South Africa, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Italy, Brazil and more will come together for this event and travel to the Lettrétage.

On Wednesday the 18th of September at 8pm we will stay musically. With the release party for the album “THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN F.&F.”, a musical collaboration between Shannon Sullivan, Ali Hasan and Simon Schmidt aka Blindsmyth. We can expect a poetry concert that will take us on a tour through a world that has lost its balance.

On monday, the 30th of September at 7.30 pm we will host the first event of the kilmé talks series.

We are looking forward to explore the world of music and creativity together with you and hope that you enjoy our programm as much as we do.
